As the sun shines brighter and our schedules start to shift with holidays, school breaks, and spontaneous plans, it’s easy for even our best intentions to slip. Routine goes out the window, and suddenly that Yoga class you love attending in the studio feels just a little harder to get to.
But what if your Yoga practice didn’t have to stop just because your routine changed?
What if you could stay connected, grounded, and energised, wherever summer takes you?
Whether you're one of our much-loved studio members or someone curious about how to keep your self-care on track during the warmer months, this blog is for you!
Did You Know? Your Studio Membership Includes Online Yoga
If you're a current member at our studio, you already have full access to our online Yoga library and live-streamed classes. That means you can unroll your mat in your garden, on holiday, or in your living room and still receive the same high-quality teaching, community support, and uplifting experience without having to leave the house!
Online classes are already part of your membership. The key is remembering they’re there for you, exactly when you need them most.
Why Online Yoga Shines in Summer
Here are some of the not-so-obvious reasons why practicing Yoga online during summer might be the best gift you give yourself:
1. It Keeps You Grounded Amidst the Chaos
Summer often brings a welcome disruption to routine, but that can sometimes feel a little too unstructured. Travel, visitors, family outings, and social events can be joyful, but also overwhelming. Online Yoga helps you return to yourself, anchor your energy, and keep a sense of inner balance when everything outside is in flux.
A 20-minute gentle flow before the day begins, or a calming evening practice after a busy BBQ, can make a world of difference in how you feel.
2. You’re More Likely to Stick With It
When time is tight, travel is booked, and you’re not in your usual rhythm, online Yoga removes the biggest barrier to staying consistent, which is usually getting there. You don’t need to pack a bag, travel to class, or find parking. You can roll straight from bed onto your mat and into your practice.
This convenience can be the difference between staying connected to yourself or feeling like you’ve completely fallen off the wagon.
3. You Get to Practice on Your Own Terms
Want to practice in your PJs? Need to hit pause to settle the kids? Fancy doing the same class on repeat because it just hits the spot? Online Yoga offers complete flexibility.
You can choose the pace, intensity, and style that suits you. Whether it’s a five-minute breathing practice, a 30 minute energising flow, or a full length restorative class, you’re in control. This kind of autonomy can help deepen your connection to Yoga and to your body’s unique needs.
4. You Stay Connected to the Studio You Love
One of the best things about online Yoga with us is that it’s still us. These aren’t random classes from teachers you don’t know. They’re from your familiar studio, with the teachers you trust, and the style of teaching you’ve come to love. It keeps that sense of continuity, community, and personal connection alive, even if you’re miles away.
I think we can all agree that there’s something extra comforting about hearing a familiar voice guide you back to your breath on a day that feels a little off-balance.
5. It’s a Gentle Reminder That You’re Worth the Time
In a season where you might be pouring your energy into everyone else (kids, guests, family events etc), it’s easy to let your own needs slide. But taking just 10 or 20 minutes to move, breathe and reconnect reminds you that you matter too.
Online Yoga becomes an act of self-respect. A pause. A breath. A way to come home to yourself.

Tips for Getting the Most Out of Online Yoga
To help you feel truly supported during your summer practice, here are a few tips for making the most of your online Yoga experience:
Create a mini sanctuary. You don’t need a full studio. Just a quiet corner with your mat, maybe a cushion or blanket, and your phone or laptop.
Choose a time that works for you. Pick a time when you're least likely to be interrupted and make it part of your daily rhythm.
Keep it simple. If you don’t have time for a full class, start with 10 minutes. A little is better than nothing, and you’ll often find you want to keep going.
Repeat your favourites. Some practices just hit the spot and repeating them helps deepen your understanding and feel more connected.
Use it as a check-in. Don’t approach your practice like another task to tick off. Think of it as time to come home to yourself.
You Don’t Need to Pause Your Yoga Practice This Summer
Whether you’re a current member who forgot about your online access (don’t worry, it happens!) or someone who’s been watching from the sidelines, now is the perfect time to step back onto your mat, wherever in the world that may be.
Online Yoga brings the practice to you. On your time. In your space. With your community.
Let this be the summer you stay connected, consistent and calm.
